Celebrate your birthday at Glengowrie

Here at the Y we host fully structured gymnastic style birthday parties for children of all ages and abilities! Whether it be a kindergym style party for your toddler, or a disco themed party for your teenager, the YMCA will host a professional and fun party for you and your friends!

Beautifully air-conditioned and heated facility! Perfect indoor option for those hot birthdays in summer or cold and wet birthdays in winter where the kids can still have plenty of space and keep active.

We are nuts, seeds and alcohol free. Please do not bring these into the centre.

Details

  • 2-hour party timeslot
  • $325 for 15 children
  • Party price includes 15 attendees, $15 fee per child beyond 15 up to maximum of 30
  • Sundays: 10:00am - 12:00pm, 12:30pm - 2:30pm, 3:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Families will have access to the gym 15-minutes prior and post their allocated time.

Book Your Party

All birthday parties must be booked online. Select “Book your party now!” to view available dates and times, noting you may need to scroll forward. Parties can be booked with a minimum of two weeks notice. Secure your party by completing the form and paying the $50 deposit.

Add your party details, including the birthday child’s name, age and any special requests, during the booking process. We will confirm your reservation by email within two business days and provide the final party cost and remaining balance. Your deposit is refundable for seven days after the booking is made.

Party themes

KinderGym

For children aged 1 - 5 years. Children can enjoy a fun and exciting birthday with our specialised KinderGym equipment. The semi-structured, parent guided party will take kids through activities where they climb, crawl, roll, bounce, rock and swing. We also include singing, dancing and free-play.

Gymnastics party

Using all of the equipment, party guests can roll, swing, climb, jump and balance their way through the party. With organised group games and free-play, it’ll be non-stop!

Choose your own

We can tailor our gymnastics party to your preference, including music, dancing, games, KinderGym and ninja warrior circuits. Please mention your preferences when booking to ensure we can accommodate.

  1. All persons must vacate the premises in accordance with hired hours. Set-up can start a maximum of 15 minutes prior to the booking time and must be completely packed up within 15 minutes after the designated booking time. This is to ensure that multiple parties flow smoothly and do not overlap.
  2. A booking deposit of $50 is required to secure the day and time of the booking. The deposit is refundable within 5 days of purchase, after which it is non-refundable.
  3. The full balance of the booking must be paid prior to the day of the party. Payment on the day will not be permitted. Cheques and cash are not accepted. A secure payment link will be sent by SMS, or can be paid in person via EFTPOS.
  4. Children are not permitted to play on the apparatus before the Safety Talk given by the YMCA coaches.
  5. Gym area and equipment are restricted for paid participants only. Siblings of guests will not be allowed to join unless over 15 years old and acting as a responsible supervisor for anyone under 4 years old.
  6. Standard booking charges include 15 party attendees. Additional attendees are to be confirmed prior and incur a fee.
  7. Children under the age of 4 must have an actively supervising adult.
  8. All garbage, litter, glassware etc., is to be placed in rubbish bins provided.
  9. Please respect that all YMCA facilities are Smoke Free and Alcohol Free zones.
  10. Any damage caused to the Centre fittings, furnishings or equipment will be charged to the Hirer at current market prices prevailing at time of hire.
  11. The YMCA party host is there to ensure that a safe environment is maintained. Any and all instruction from the party host must be complied with.
