what we do

Competitive gymnastics

Compete in gymnastics

Our competitive program provides an opportunity for students who wish to train and compete in the Australian National Levels Program at local, regional and national events. Competition squads require an increased level of commitment from the gymnast and their families.

Gymnasts are required to attend set training hours every week, and must be available for competitions on weekends.

Women's Artistic Gymnastics

In Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, gymnasts compete across four different apparatus: floor, vault, uneven bars and beam. The program focusses on improving gymnast’s coordination, strength, balance and control to improve and challenge their gymnastic skills.

To participate in our WAG program, gymnasts must have previously participated in a gymnastics program.

WAG is run at our Glengowrie location and O’Sullivan Beach locations. Get in touch with your nearest location to enquire.

Trampolining

Trampolining involves gymnasts building their strength, agility, and precision by executing dynamic flips, twists, and jumps through a series of aerial skills.

Trampolining is run at our Glengowrie location. Please contact us at 08 8295 1774 or glengowrie@ymcasa.org.au to enquire about enrolment
