Celebrate your birthday at Glengowrie

Here at the Y we host fully structured gymnastic style birthday parties for children of all ages and abilities! Whether it be a kindergym style party for your toddler, or a disco themed party for your teenager, the YMCA will host a professional and fun party for you and your friends!

Beautifully air-conditioned and heated facility! Perfect indoor option for those hot birthdays in summer or cold and wet birthdays in winter where the kids can still have plenty of space and keep active.

We are nuts, seeds and alcohol free. Please do not bring these into the centre.

Inclusions

  • 2 qualified party hosts (including 90 minutes of supervised activity)
  • Designated table area, including a gifts table
  • Full use of the gymnastics hall and range of gymnastics equipment – uneven bars, high bar, 3 beams, vault, various soft shapes, mini tramp, long tumbling track and foam pit.
  • Full use of our kitchen facilities, including multi-rack pie warmer, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer and stove top
  • Viewing area for parents/guardians to watch the fun
  • Party invitations available on request

Details

  • $300 for 15 children
  • 2 hour party timeslot
  • Participation for up to 30 children. Party includes 15 children, $10 fee per child beyond 15.
  • Saturdays: 3:30pm - 5:30pm
  • Sundays: 10:00am - 12:00pm, 12:30pm - 2:30pm, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Party themes

KinderGym

For children aged 1 - 5 years. Children can enjoy a fun and exciting birthday with our specialised KinderGym equipment. The semi-structured, parent guided party will take kids through activities where they climb, crawl, roll, bounce, rock and swing. We also include singing, dancing and free-play.

Gymnastics party

Using all of the equipment, party guests can roll, swing, climb, jump and balance their way through the party. With organised group games and free-play, it’ll be non-stop!

Choose your own

We can tailor our gymnastics party to your preference, including music, dancing, games, KinderGym and ninja warrior circuits. Please mention your preferences when booking to ensure we can accommodate.

Birthday party enquiry

  1. Allocated hired hours are 15mins prior to and 15 mins after their party for setting up and packing up. This is to ensure that multiple parties flow smoothly and do not overlap.
  2. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to confirm this booking.
  3. Outstanding payment for the party is to be paid prior to the party day. This is an insurance precaution and must be adhered to. ($280 or more depending on number of children at-tending)
  4. Payment on the day will not be permitted. Cheques can be paid 1 week prior to the party date in question.
  5. Children are not permitted to play on the apparatus before the Safety Talk given by The YMCA coaches.
  6. Gym area and equipment are restricted for paid participants only. Siblings of guests will not be allowed to join unless over 15 years old and acting as a responsible supervisor for anyone under 4 years old.
  7. All refuse, litter, glassware etc., is to be placed in the rubbish bins provided.
  8. Please respect that our centre is a smoke free and alcohol free zone. Smokers are urged to use the car park to smoke, and dispose of any butts/ wrappers.
  9. Any damage caused to the Centre fittings furnishings or equipment will be charged to the Hirer at current market prices prevailing at time of hire.
  10. The YMCA staff members are there to ensure that a safe environment is maintained for all and any instruction must be complied with immediately.
  11. We are nuts, seeds and alcohol free. Please do not bring these into the centre.
